The FIA escalates its efforts against human trafficking and white-collar offenses.

The FIA has published its detailed action report, indicating that in the last week, the Gujranwala Zone recorded 27 cases against people traffickers and apprehended 17 individuals, including five prominent suspects.

According to the FIA spokesperson, immigration officials detained and removed 38 questionable individuals, including five at Sialkot airport, thereby preventing their effort to go to the Gulf States and Iraq.

The agency confiscated counterfeit travel documents for locations such as Senegal, South Africa, Greece, and Italy, commencing rigorous legal proceedings against violators.

The newly formed Anti-Money Laundering Circle has initiated investigations into 27 instances, with Director Abdul Qadir Qamar reiterating the FIA’s dedication to dismantle money laundering operations.

The FIA investigated allegations of electricity theft, apprehending five people and seizing approximately Rs 5.5 million.

Director FIA Qadir Qamar emphasized the agency’s commitment to transparency by instituting internal accountability mechanisms in conjunction with its operations. International organizations facilitated training programs for FIA personnel to augment their investigation competencies.

The FIA Gujranwala Zone seeks to uphold justice and combat offenses that jeopardize Pakistan’s reputation and public safety.
