The formula with minus one won’t work: Gohar, Barrister

The minus-one strategy to remove Imran Khan from politics won’t work, according to Barrister Gohar Khan, the chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

Barrister Gohar said at a press conference in Sargodha on Friday that he is only serving as the PTI founder’s representative and that the founder is still in charge of the party.

He said that the founder of the PTI has been consulted on every decision and that this will continue in the future. He went on to say that the founder of the PTI is working to keep Pakistani democracy alive.

Barrister Gohar added that more repression will only hurt the nation’s democratic process.

He demanded that flood victims receive assistance that goes beyond political concerns. The PTI Chairman went on to say that the floods had a serious impact on Punjab and that everyone needed to cooperate in order to help the victims get better.
