The Gilgit region is shaken by light tremors.

Residents in Gilgit, Skardu, Astore, and the surrounding areas experienced mild tremors on Sunday, which briefly caused fear.
At a depth of 25 kilometers, the earthquake was measured to have a Richter magnitude of 3.7. The Seismological Center said that its epicenter was 34 kilometers southwest of Skardu.
Although no significant damage or injuries were reported, residents hurried out of their homes as the earthquakes occurred.
Although officials acknowledged that the earthquake did not create any major disturbance in the area, they are still keeping an eye on the situation.
After tremors were detected in August, this is the second earthquake to hit Gilgit-Baltistan in a few weeks.
The earthquake had a depth of 122 kilometers and a Richter scale value of 5.4.
Its epicentre was found to be at 102 kilometers from Bajaur in the Hindu Kush region. Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan also experienced the tremors.
Lahore, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Haripur, Abbottabad, Charsadda, Mingora (Swat), Hazara Division, and parts of Hatian Bala, Jhelum Valley, and Chinari were among the impacted cities.
