The government reduces the price of petrol by Rs5.66 per litre.

A notification regarding the new petroleum pricing has been released by the federal government.

The lowering of petrol prices by Rs5.66 per litre has been agreed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

Additionally, a notification to lower the cost of petroleum goods was released by the Ministry of Finance.

The announcement states that the price of petrol has been cleared to be lowered by Rs 5.66 per litre, with the new price being Rs 263.2 per litre.

Diesel will now be priced at Rs275.41 a litre after a price drop of Rs1.39 per litre was approved.

Kerosene is now priced at Rs 181.71 per litre, down Rs 3.26 per litre.

Following a reduction of Rs 2.74 per litre, the price of light diesel oil has been set at Rs 162.76.

It should be mentioned that a price cut for petroleum goods has been announced for the upcoming fifteen days.
