The government’s primary priority, according to PM Shehbaz

The prime minister added, speaking to cabinet members during the first meeting, that while people are suffering from inflation, “Ashrafia” is receiving subsidies.

Shehbaz Sharif continued, “Tax evaders and officials involved in facilitating tax evasion will not be spared.” He promised that the government’s “bad actors” will be found and held to account.

In response to questions about potential overpricing and stockpiling during Ramadan, the prime minister stated that price increases for necessities are never acceptable.

Reviving the economy and bringing inflation under control are two of their main concerns, according to Shehbaz Sharif.

The inaugural cabinet meeting was attended by the recently nominated federal ministers.

Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif’s 19-member federal cabinet took an oath of office at the President House earlier in the day.

The newly selected ministers of PM Shehbaz’s federal cabinet were sworn in by President Asif Ali Zardari. The location of the swearing-in event was Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad.

Prior to this, PM Shehbaz suggested to President Zardari a group of legislators, including Khawaja Asif, Aleem Khan, Rana Tanvir, Ahsan Iqbal, Chaudhry Salik, and Azam Nazeer Tarar, to be appointed as federal ministers.

Amir Maqam, Owais Laghari, Ata Tarar, Khalid Maqbool Siddique, Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, Riaz Pirzada, Ishaq Dar, Mussadiq Malik, Muhammad Aurangzeb, Ahad Cheema, and Mohsin Naqvi are also included in the suggested list.
