The ICC T20 World Cup trophy will arrive in Pakistan tonight
The three-day visit of the International Cricket Council (ICC) T20 World Cup trophy is scheduled to begin tonight in Pakistan.
Details indicate that on Saturday at 4:30 PM, the T20 World Cup trophy would be delivered to the National Cricket Academy in Lahore.
The trophy will be handed out during the Pakistan-New Zealand T20 international match that day at Gaddafi Stadium.
The T20I World Cup trophy will be transported to Abbottabad, Lahore, and other locations in Pakistan.
T20 World Cup 2024 will kick out on June 1 with co-hosts USA playing fierce foe Canada. On the second day of group play, fellow hosts the West Indies will take on Papua New Guinea in Guyana.
The groupings and fixtures for the ninth edition of the 20-over showcase were released by the International Cricket Council (ICC), with a total of three USA and six Caribbean sites to be used for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.
Ten of the twenty countries will play their opening encounter of the 29-day competition in the United States. The sixteen matches are slated to take place in Lauderhill, Dallas, and New York, while the highly anticipated match between India and Pakistan is set for June 9 at the brand-new Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in Long Island.
