The Islamabad project “Vision Pakistan” has won a global architecture award.

The capital city of Islamabad’s purpose-built institute, “Vision Pakistan,” has won a renowned international architecture prize.

Along with submissions from seven nations—Bangladesh, China, Egypt, Iran, and Palestine—the building was honored in the 16th prize cycle.

The building, which was created by DB Studios and architect Saifullah Siddiqui, combines elements of traditional Pakistani and Arab architecture with contemporary design. A nonprofit organization that trains impoverished youngsters in occupational skills has its offices in the building.

According to architect Saifullah Siddiqui, Vision Pakistan is a vocational training center established to equip kids from underprivileged backgrounds with useful skills. According to him, “Every project we construct considers climate change,” emphasizing the building’s environmentally friendly design.

Vision Pakistan’s client, Rashda Tariq Qureshi, stressed that the structure has the capacity to transform lives and is more than just aesthetically pleasing. “This space transforms every young person who walks in — especially those who’ve never experienced a structured classroom or envisioned a bright future,” she stated.

In addition to praising architectural brilliance, the international acknowledgment recognizes the project’s social impact and how its design offers opportunity and hope.
