The PCB chief orders officials to expedite the renovation of National Stadium.

Pakistan will host the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 from February to March, but India’s participation in the competition is doubtful as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is requesting permission from the government to travel there.

Naqvi went over the stadium’s ongoing renovations in great detail while he was there. He instructed the crew to move the electronic score panel to a better location in order to emphasize the value of improving the spectator experience.

When the PCB chairman visited, he stated, “We want fans to have an uninterrupted view of the matches, so adjusting the screen placement is a priority.”

In addition, he directed the parking lot to be moved closer to the stadium.

The chairman received an update on the status of the National Stadium renovations from the Frontier Works Organization (FWO). Arshad Khan, the manager of the National Stadium, and adviser Aamir Mir also attended the event.

In order to get the stadium upgraded in time for the Champions Trophy, Naqvi gave the FWO Official instructions.

“Day and night efforts should be made to accelerate the upgrade project for the tournament,” he said.
