The PML-N will have Maryam Nawaz chair the Punjab parliamentary meeting.
According to information, a meeting of the PML-N Punjab parliamentary party has been scheduled for Jati Umra, Lahore. The conference will also be attended by all of the province’s MPAs-elect for the PML-N.
The gathering will also cover nominations for the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Punjab Assembly, along with issues pertaining to the province’s government formation.
Additionally, a plan for the Punjab Assembly session will be decided. It has been mandated that all recently elected MPAs attend the parliamentary party gathering.
Shehbaz Sharif, the president of the PML-N, had earlier on February 13 said that Maryam Nawaz, the top organizer of the party, would be their choice to become the chief minister of Punjab.
According to PML-N Spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzaib, Nawaz Sharif, the leader of the party, has nominated Maryam Nawaz and Shahbaz Sharif for chief minister of Punjab and prime minister, respectively.
“Mr. Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has nominated Mr. Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif for the post of Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, while he has nominated Ms. Maryam Nawaz Sharif for the post of Chief Minister of Punjab,” Marriyum said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
