The PPP puts Yousuf Raza Gilani up to lead the Senate.

 Yousuf Raza Gilani has been nominated by the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) to be the party’s nominee for head of the Pakistani Senate.

Jameel Soomro, the Chairman’s political secretary, sent out the notification for Yousuf Raza Gilani’s nomination from the Chairman’s Secretariat.

It is important to note that Yousuf Raza Gilani led Pakistan as prime minister from 2008 to 2012.
