The prime minister and Pakistan call on Afghan authorities to eradicate terrorists from their territory.

Pakistan’s commitment to safeguarding its national interests, regional sovereignty, and security was reiterated on Sunday by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari.
Pakistan would never tolerate any divisive or deceptive position on the Jammu and Kashmir problem, according to President Zardari. In a press release, the President Secretariat Press Wing cited the president as saying, “India’s illegal claims regarding Kashmir are in direct violation of international law and United Nations resolutions.”
He said that it was an injustice to history and the Muslim Ummah for the Afghan leadership to have abandoned the oppressed people of Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
He underlined that UN studies had thoroughly documented the Khwarij’s terrorist attacks, which originated on Afghan soil.
“Pakistan has consistently stated that Pakistani civilians and security personnel are the target of the Khwarij’s alliance with Indian elements,” he continued.
In order to eradicate anti-Pakistan terrorist forces operating from its territory, the president asked the Afghan authorities to take decisive action.
He reaffirmed that the biggest threat to regional peace and security was terrorism supported by India and the Khwarij.
President Zardari continued, “Terrorism is a shared challenge, and no single country should be left to bear the burden alone.”
The president emphasised Pakistan’s longstanding assistance to Afghanistan, pointing out that the country has been a model of Islamic brotherhood and good neighbourliness for more than 40 years by housing Afghan refugees.
He stated that both countries would benefit from the dignified return of Afghan nationals in connection with the reestablishment of peace, and that Pakistan will keep helping the Afghan people with their humanitarian and educational requirements.
President Zardari declared, “Pakistan will not compromise on its national sovereignty,” adding that Pakistan had done everything in its power to support Afghanistan’s economy, trade, and connectivity.
In addition to expressing Pakistan’s sincere hope for a peaceful, stable, and prosperous Afghanistan, he emphasised the need of economic collaboration and mutual support for long-term peace and regional development.
President Zardari further emphasised that respect for one another, security collaboration, and a dedication to regional peace should be the cornerstones of fraternal relationships.
He said he hoped the Afghan interim government will stop the Khwarij and the terrorist elements supported by India from using its land.
He believed that a durable peace could only be ensured by coordinated and effective counterterrorism activities.
Shehbaz Sharif, PM
Prime Minister Shehbaz urged the Afghan government to stop its territory from being utilised against Pakistan and vehemently denounced Afghanistan’s provocations in Pakistan’s border regions.
He praised the armed forces and expressed delight in the professionalism of the military, praising the Pakistan Army’s strong and efficient response.
He claimed that the Pakistan Army, led fearlessly by Field Marshal Asim Munir, not only responded forcefully to Afghanistan’s aggression but also destroyed a number of their installations, compelling them to flee.
He declared that every act of aggression will be met with a forceful and efficient response, and that Pakistan would not compromise on its defence. He declared, “We know how to defend every inch of our land, and our defence is in capable hands.”
He stated that the Pakistan Army has consistently responded to all types of foreign aggression with crushing force.
Pakistan’s security forces have the support of the entire country, said Prime Minister Shehbaz.
He pointed out that Pakistan has frequently provided Afghanistan with intelligence on terrorist groups like “Fitna al-Khawarij” and “Fitna al-Hindustan” that are fighting Pakistan from Afghan territory.
According to him, Pakistan anticipates that the Afghan interim government will make sure that terrorist groups do not exploit its territory against Pakistan.
