The protective bail for KP CM Gandapur has been extended to March 5.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur’s appeal for protective bail has been granted until March 5.

Justice Sahibzada Asadullah and Justice Salahuddin made up the Peshawar High Court bench that heard the protective bail request. Although the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was unable to attend, the petitioner’s attorney and the Advocate General did appear in court.

The petitioner’s attendance is required by law, the court said. “We will adjourn the hearing, but the petitioner must appear in person for the protective bail request,” the judge said.

The hearing was then postponed after the court granted Ali Amin Gandapur’s request for protective bail until March 5.
