The Punjab CM launches the Wazirabad electric bus project.

Wazirabad: The environmentally friendly electric bus project in Wazirabad was solemnly inaugurated by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif. From the Ghakkar Mandi bus stop, she got on an e-bus and rode among the general public.

Many residents greeted her with open arms, sprinkling petals of flowers and taking pictures.

A thorough briefing on the project was also provided to the Chief Minister. 15 contemporary, cozy electric buses will run on Wazirabad’s outlying routes as part of the project.

The buses are furnished with complete air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and mobile charging points.

A separate compartment has been set aside for women’s convenience and protection, and CCTV cameras have been installed to stop harassing.
