The Punjab government has announced the Nigahban Ramazan gift for eligible families.

The Punjab government has resolved to offer the “Nigahban Ramazan” package to millions of families to assist them throughout the holy month.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif presided over a meeting to evaluate various proposals and recommendations concerning the program.

The chief minister has urged individuals to finalize their registration for the Ramazan package by February 15. She also provided directives to guarantee transparency in the delivery of the packages.

Maryam Nawaz asserted that the Nigahban package was a right of the disadvantaged, emphasizing that it is also the government’s duty to assist them.

The chief minister said that the public should be granted their rights with dignity and expressed his disapproval of the method of delivering the package that requires individuals to stand in lineups.

She further emphasised that the administration and relevant authorities should consider their work as an act of worship.

It is mandatory for people to get registered in Provincial Socio-Economic Survey (PSER) for the package. They may register online by accessing the PSER portal or through union councils. A helpline has been instituted for this purpose.
