The Rabi ul-Sani moon has not been sighted in Pakistan.

The first day of the Islamic month will now fall on Thursday, September 25, 2025, as the moon for Rabi ul-Sani 1447 Hijri was not visible anywhere in Pakistan.

The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee met to see the moon, according to media sources, with Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad serving as its chair. In several cities throughout the nation, zonal committee meetings were also held concurrently.

No reliable moon sightings from any part of Pakistan were reported by the committee. Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad then made the decision formally known.

The first Rabi ul-Sani 1447 AH will be commemorated on Thursday, September 25, according to a formal announcement that was later released by the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
