The Ruet-e-Hilal Committee convenes today for the observation of the Shaban moon.

The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will convene today, Thursday, to discuss the observation of the moon for Shaban, 1446 AH.

The Chairman of the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad, will preside over the meeting at the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Islamabad.

All zonal and district moon sighting committees will convene at their designated sites.

The central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will proclaim the moon sighting after evaluating the testimonials collected nationwide.

Shab-e-Barat, a night of absolution, is commemorated on the 15th night of Shaban with religious solemnity nationwide.
