The Sindh government will unveil the 2024–25 budget on June 14.
The budget will be presented in the Sindh Assembly at 3 p.m. by Syed Murad Ali Shah, the chief minister of Sindh and the person in charge of finance.
The Sindh cabinet will convene tomorrow at the CM House to approve the FY24–25 budget, per a letter released by this province’s finance department.
The future budget for the upcoming fiscal year, 2024–2025, will be unveiled by the federal government today, in contrast.
On the floor of the National Assembly, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, the federal minister of finance and revenue, will introduce the budget.
According to government sources, “the budget will be aimed at mitigating the people’s sufferings, transforming the agriculture sector, promoting information technology (IT), and boosting exports.”
Together with revenue mobilization, fiscal management, growth and stabilization strategies, cutting non-development spending, job creation, and people-friendly policies for the nation’s socioeconomic prosperity, the government further asserted that the budget will include all of these items.
In compliance with the established schedules, the federal budget announcement preparations for the fiscal year 2024–25 remained on.
