There will be a Senate session today.

The Senate secretariat reportedly released a 13-point agenda for today’s meeting.

The Standing Committee on Finance’s recommendations for the Tax Laws Amendment Bill will be discussed at today’s session, per the agenda. Additionally, the House will hear the introduction of the Special Technology Zones Authority Bill, 2025.

Opposition leader Shibli Faraz will issue a call to action on the federal government’s release of Rs 8.46 billion for development projects in the combined tribal areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

A calling attention notice regarding the PIA jets’ grounding in the context of an uncertain privatization plan will be presented by Senator Sherry Rehman.

In addition, the Senate’s four standing committee chairmen will report on a range of topics. The documentation of the implementation of NFC awards for the year 2022 will also be presented in the House.
