Three hand grenades were seized during the evacuation of the Jaffar Express to Quetta.

The carriages of the Jaffar Express, intercepted by Baloch separatists in Bolan, have been conveyed to the provincial capital, Quetta, after a duration of eight days.

Three hand grenades were retrieved from the incapacitated coaches.

Railway personnel report that the bogies transported to Quetta exhibit gunshot marks, and the majority of the windows are smashed. The bogies will be repaired and restored to a functional state for travel.

Railway police officers reported the discovery of three hand grenades in the damaged carriages of the Jaffar Express, which were transported to Quetta and subsequently neutralized. The impacted bogies of the Jaffar Express were transferred to Quetta from the Mashkaf region near Kachi.

On March 11, Baloch rebels assaulted the Peshawar-bound Jaffar Express at Bolan, leading to the deaths of multiple people and authorities. Subsequent to the assault, security forces intervened, successfully liberating the abducted passengers. Approximately 50 insurgents were eliminated in the subsequent operation.
