Today (Thursday), Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to meet with U.S. President Donald Trump. The summit will also be attended by prominent political figures and other notable individuals.

President Trump and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met informally the day before. The two leaders shook hands cordially. Ishaq Dar, the deputy prime minister, attended the event as well.

The U.S. President is a supporter of peace and wants to bring about world peace, the Prime Minister told the reporters. He expressed gratitude to Trump and his colleagues for their crucial contribution to the ceasefire between India and Pakistan.

The Prime Minister also met with the President of Indonesia, the King of Jordan, and the Emir of Qatar to address regional concerns and other important topics.
