Serena Interchange Project will be officially opened by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif today (Tuesday). Leaders of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and parliamentarians have been invited to the inauguration.
The Serena Interchange Project’s inauguration is a significant accomplishment, especially since the prime minister had given it a 60-day deadline to be finished, which was met one month ahead of schedule.
The Rs4.2 billion project has three underpasses: two on the Srinagar Highway and one on Khayaban-i-Suhrawardi. Suhrawardi Road now has a finished underpass that is accessible to vehicles.
The Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will be honored by the federal government when one of the interchange’s recently built underpasses is named. The CDA has been directed to move forward with the formal naming procedures by the Prime Minister’s Office.
