Today’s federal cabinet meeting will be chaired by PM Shehbaz.

 Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has called a federal cabinet meeting to be held in Islamabad today (Tuesday) to examine the nation’s present political, economic, and security circumstances.

The meeting, to be held at the Prime Minister’s Office, will be chaired by the Prime Minister. During the meeting, the cabinet will talk on an eight-point agenda.

Sources claim that during the meeting, the Right Sizing Committee’s suggestions would be put forward for approval. The merger of the Ministry of Interior’s Narcotics Division will also be approved by the cabinet.

The discussion will also include a summary of the Aviation Division’s merger with the Ministry of Defense. Additionally, the 2024 National Commission for Minorities Act will be offered for approval

According to sources, changes to PPRA roles are also on the table.

Additionally, Muhammad Bashir Khan, a member of the Environment Tribunal Islamabad, will be granted a two-year extension of his term. The Cabinet Committee for Disposal of Legislative Cases (CCLC) will make decisions that the cabinet will ratify.
