Today’s federal cabinet meeting will be chaired by PM Shehbaz.

The federal cabinet meeting has been called by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to be convened in Islamabad today (Thursday) to examine the nation’s present political, economic, and security circumstances.

The prime minister will preside over the meeting, which will be held at the prime minister’s office. The cabinet will convene to examine a 13-point agenda.

Sources claim that the cabinet will think about starting an investigation into a minister’s remarks on PIA pilots made under the PTI government. The Charter of the Middle East Green Initiative will be approved by the Federal Cabinet.

During today’s meeting, the cabinet will examine the creation of special courts in Islamabad and the reorganisation of Accountability Court No. 3. The Karachi Port Trust chairman will also be appointed with approval from the federal cabinet.

The agreement agreed upon by the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee and Pakistan Customs will also be approved by the federal cabinet.

According to sources, the Cabinet Committee on Legal Affairs will certify the decisions made at its meeting on January 22.
