Tomorrow, the elephant Madhubala will be moved to Safari Park.

The lone elephant at the Karachi Zoo will be moved to the Safari Park tomorrow, where she will reunite with Sonia and Malika, two other elephants, after 15 years apart, according to Four Paws.

According to the Four Paws, the elephants have finished being trained to enter and exit the container, and they are working to make sure there is no obstruction in their path when the enormous creature is being moved.

A ceremony is also anticipated to occur tomorrow following the relocation of Madhubala to Safari Park.

The Madhubala elephant will bring Safari Park’s total number of elephants to three.

The international animal welfare organization Four Paws sent an eight-person team to Karachi in 2022 to cure four African elephants, including Madhubala.

For years, the elephant endured discomfort from a damaged tusk and a tooth infection.

Kaavan, the loneliest elephant in the world, was also moved from Islamabad to Cambodia by the Four Paws in 2020.
