Twenty officers of the Sindh government are prohibited from international travel.

The government has instituted a travel ban on 20 senior officials in Sindh as part of a continuing campaign against land grabbing and corruption within state institutions.

Sources indicate that the names of officials implicated in various corruption probes have been added to the Passport Control List to inhibit their departure from the country.

Reports with substantial evidence against prominent individuals in Sindh have been compiled, indicating imminent action against corrupt entities.

Former head of the Sindh Building Control Authority, Sindh Board of Revenue, Malir Development Authority and several ex-deputy Commissioners of Karachi are among those under investigations. Authorities have completed all necessary measures to block their escape while inquiries continue.
