On Tuesday, Donald Blome, the US Ambassador to Pakistan, paid a goodbye visit to Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar.
The Deputy Prime Minister commended Ambassador Blome for the successful conclusion of his time in Pakistan and acknowledged his contributions to enhancing Pakistan-US ties, as stated by the Foreign Office Spokesperson in a news statement.
Dar articulated the Pakistani government’s commitment to maintain constructive interaction with the next US administration.
He highlighted the United States as Pakistan’s principal trading partner and stressed the necessity of ongoing collaboration to further strengthen the commercial and economic relations between the two nations.
