Virgin Atlantic said it will’resume’ its flights to Pakistan.

According to information, Virgin Atlantic will begin reestablishing connections between London and Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore in October of this year.

Aviation sources claim that the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has finally given the airline permission to resume operations after it discontinued flights to Pakistan in 2023.

The British airline will once again connect Pakistan to its international network by operating its flights via Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

It is anticipated that customers will benefit from increased travel convenience and improved connection between Pakistan and the UK once flights resume.

The British airline declared in 2023 that it would stop operating flights between London Heathrow and Islamabad and Lahore.

“As we continue to ramp up our flying program in 2023, we’ve taken the opportunity to review our entire network and decided to make a few changes,” stated a representative for one airline.

Co-founders Randolph Fields and Alan Hellary initially intended for the airline, which was founded in 1984 under the name British Atlantic Airways, to operate flights between London and the Falkland Islands.

Fields sold Richard Branson his firm shares shortly after rebranding it as Virgin Atlantic Airways in exchange for unrestricted free travel.

On June 22, 1984, the first flight from London-Gatwick to Newark was conducted.

Virgin Atlantic Limited, a holding company that is 49% owned by Delta Air Lines and 51% owned by the Virgin Group, controls the airline and Virgin Holidays.
