WhatsApp Releases New Capability to Look Up Previous Messages

Sometimes it’s hard to find that important message you sent weeks ago, especially if you have to spend a lot of time browsing through a lot of messages. However, a new rumour claims that WhatsApp is exploring a feature that would let users search for messages based on their date.

Users of Android and iPhone are presently able to obtain the most recent upgrade, and users of WhatsApp on PCs and Macs as well as online users may also use the same functionality. The news was also disseminated by Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg through his WhatsApp channel.

To locate a WhatsApp message from a particular date, open the conversation or group, click on the member’s name, and choose “search.” Android smartphones have a calendar icon in the right corner, while on iPhones, it’s located at the bottom right corner.
