Why won’t the Sharif brothers cast a ballot for “Lion” on February 8th?

Ironically, people cannot vote for the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate for the National Assembly seat in tomorrow’s general elections, despite the party’s top officials urging them to do so by stamping on the party’s “lion” electoral symbol.

The votes of Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif, and Hamza Shehbaz are registered in NA-128, where the PML-N has a seat adjustment with the Istehkam-e-Pakistan (IPP), according to party officials offering information.

They added that in NA-128 the PML-N had declared its support for IPP leader Aun Chaudhry, whose electoral symbol is a “eagle,” and had not filed a candidate for the National Assembly seat.

On the other hand, in PP-161, the three PML-N leaders would support party candidate Umar Sohail.

It should be mentioned that Nawaz Sharif is running for office in two NA constituencies: NA-130 in Lahore and NA-15 in Mansehra.

While Hamza Shehbaz Sharif is the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz candidate from NA-118 Lahore, Shehbaz Sharif is running for office from NA-123 and NA-132.

Every preparation for the polls has been finished by the Election Commission. In all four provinces, nine thousand six hundred and seventy-five voting places have been set up.

For the seats in the National Assembly, five thousand one hundred and twenty-one candidates are competing.
