Youngsters killed in Okara after a “baaja” argument
The victim, named as Arshad, and his neighbour got into a fight the day before, according to the police.
The argument originated from a dispute on Independence Day between kids performing the Baaja.
Arshad was shot and killed as a result of the situation getting out of hand.
In the meantime, the local police started looking into the incident in an effort to find the offender.
It was previously reported that booths selling Independence Day celebration products in the federal capital of Islamabad were openly selling horns, even though it is illegal to sell baajas (horns) in the city.
The district administration of the federal capital outlawed the usage and selling of baajas (horns), thus the Deputy Commissioner (DC) ordered all assistant commissioners to seize the horns from the vendors in Islamabad.
During the Independence Day celebrations, the DC Irfan Nawaz asked people to refrain from using horns and instructed booth owners not to sell any prohibited toys because doing so would result in their confiscation.
The DC Islamabad went on to say that anyone caught using or selling baaja will be subject to legal repercussions.
