Four FC personnel killed in Quetta bomb explosion

At least four members of the Frontier Corps (FC) were killed and three others injured in an explosion near a bomb disposal unit in the Margate neighbourhood of Quetta on Friday.
The explosion aimed at the security personnel as they were engaged in the disposal of an improvised explosive device (IED) located in the vicinity. Among the martyrs were Subedar Shahzad Amin, Naib Subedar Abbas, Sepoy Khalil, and Sepoy Zahid. Security sources verified the casualties and supplied facts regarding the incident.
Alongside the casualties, Lance Naik Zafar, Lance Naik Farooq, and Sepoy Khurram Saleem had injuries in the explosion. They were promptly transported to a neighbouring medical institution, where their status is under observation.
Subsequent to the explosion, security authorities promptly secured the vicinity and initiated a search operation to identify the perpetrators of the incident. Officials have pledged to hold the offenders accountable.
The explosion signifies the most recent incident in a succession of assaults on security personnel in Balochistan, which has been experiencing an escalation of terrorist operations in recent months.
