The Deputy Prime Minister and Afghan minister reaffirmed their resolve to strengthen collaboration.

Haji Nooruddin Azizin, the Acting Minister for Commerce and Industries of Afghanistan, met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Thursday.

During the meeting, they deliberated on issues of shared interest and bilateral relations. Both parties reiterated their dedication to improving collaboration in trade, transit, and regional connectivity.

They emphasized the significance of sustaining elevated political contact between the two neighboring nations.

DAR WILL VISIT AFGHANISTAN ON APRIL 19

Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar will embark on a one-day official visit to Afghanistan this week, marking his inaugural journey to Kabul since taking office.

The foreign office reports that Dar will arrive in Kabul on April 19 to engage in discussions with his Afghan counterpart.

Key issue on the agenda include cross-border terrorism, border management, the return of Afghan refugees and progress on regional projects such as TAPI gas pipeline.
