PM Shehbaz demands closer connections between Pakistan and the UAE in a number of areas.

Pakistan’s strong intention to transform the positive political relations with the United Arab Emirates into a profitable commercial cooperation has been reaffirmed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

In Islamabad on Monday, he was speaking with Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the United Arab Emirates’ Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The longstanding fraternal relations between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates, which are based on respect for one another, a shared history, and close cultural and economic links, were reiterated by Shehbaz Sharif.

He expressed his gratitude for the UAE’s ongoing support of Pakistan in a number of areas and sent his warmest regards to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates and the ruler of Abu Dhabi.

The prime minister expressed his happiness with the favorable trajectory of bilateral relations and stressed the need to strengthen trade, investment, energy, and people-to-people contacts between the two nations.

The gathering also covered the state of the region and world events.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed gratitude for the contributions made by the Pakistani community in the United Arab Emirates and reaffirmed his nation’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and pursuing new opportunities for cooperation.
