Punjab offers wheat producers Rs 5,000 per acre.

In an effort to boost the agriculture industry, the Punjab government has offered wheat farmers Rs 5,000 per acre.

Farmers in Punjab are being granted their rights, thus this matter shouldn’t be politicized, according to Provincial Minister for Information Azma Bokhari.

She stated at a press conference held at DGPR Lahore that CM Punjab had provided wheat farmers with a substantial relief package totaling Rs109 billion.

Bukhari stated that the Punjab administration has been taking action to impose law and order in the security situation.

To help wheat farmers throughout the province, the chief minister approved a comprehensive plan worth 110 billion rupees.

The Chief Minister endorsed a number of important decisions and efforts during a special meeting on wheat held in Lahore on Monday.

In accordance with the Chief Minister’s orders, the meeting approved a 25 billion rupee budget for the Wheat Farmer Support Program, which will let wheat farmers to get 25,000 rupees for each five acres of land they cultivate.

The Price Control Department was instructed by the Chief Minister to support the provincial Agriculture Minister in his efforts to supervise the wheat buying campaign.
