In South Waziristan, a police officer was killed in a polio team attack.

An attack on a polio team in South Waziristan on Monday resulted in the martyrdom of a police policeman and the death of one terrorist.

The attack took place in the South Waziristan neighborhood of Azam Warsak, according to police confirmation.

According to police, the polio team was heavily attacked by militants. There was a half-hour-long gunfight after the cops replied. In the incident, one constable was martyred, one terrorist was murdered, and others ran away.

Authorities discovered two ID cards, three ATM cards, and a cell phone from the terrorist who was slain, who was identified as Afnan. Two motorcycles, a rocket launcher, and an SMG were found among the terrorists who were escaping.

Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister, lamented the constable’s martyrdom and denounced the attack. In addition to ordering emergency medical assistance for the wounded, he declared that terrorists who attack polio workers and those who defend them are enemies of the country and of humanity and promised that they would be held accountable.
