The UAE’s deputy prime minister arrives in Islamabad on a two-day official visit.

Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed al Nahyan, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, was met in Islamabad on Sunday by Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister.

He is in Pakistan for a two-day official visit. This high-level visit highlights the two nations’ shared commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest and underlines the long-standing, fraternal ties between Pakistan and the UAE.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan will speak with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister while he is there. The summit will cover the full range of bilateral relations, with an emphasis on trade and investment, energy cooperation, regional security, and people-to-people ties.

Additionally, the visit will give both parties a chance to discuss issues of shared interest and concern on a regional and international level. The last time the Deputy Prime Ministers met was on February 21, 2025, in Abu Dhabi.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will also receive a visit from Sheikh Abdullah. The call will restate the region’s common goal of peace and prosperity.

The peoples of both nations will gain from Sheikh Abdullah’s visit, which will strengthen the long-standing Pakistan-UAE ties and advance bilateral cooperation in a variety of areas.
