In the Cholistan desert, a rare caracal wild cat was spotted.

A caracal, a rare type of wild cat, has been sighted in the Cholistan Desert hovering close to a herd of Chinkara deer in what is likely an attempt at hunting. This is an unusual and exciting event for wildlife aficionados.
The Caracal is renowned for its exceptional hunting skills, particularly in dry desert settings, according to Wildlife Department authorities. Its hunting behavior distinguishes it from other predators in the area. It mostly hunts desert birds, rabbits, and other small animals, frequently leaping 5 to 7 feet into the air to capture its prey in mid-flight.

A local wildlife inspector who was able to film the elusive animal in its native habitat declared, “This is one of the most beautiful and rare wild cats in the world.”
The public and even researchers rarely witness the caracal, a secretive predator with characteristic long ears capped with black tufts.
