New motorways in Sindh and KP are announced by Abdul Aleem Khan.

Major infrastructure projects were reviewed at a high-level meeting of the National Highway Authority (NHA) Central Zone, which was chaired by Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan.
Two significant freeway projects totaling $2 billion that are scheduled to start this year in Sindh were among the projects considered.
Speaking at the meeting, Abdul Aleem Khan announced that work on the M6 and M9 motorways would begin in Sindh this year. He also disclosed that plans are in motion to open the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Kaghan and Mansehra-Naran motorways in the same time frame.
The minister went on to emphasize that significant projects like the Karachi and Sukkur-Hyderabad freeways are also being initiated in Sindh, and that these initiatives demonstrate the government’s dedication to enhancing connectivity across the country.
Abdul Aleem Khan stated that construction has already begun in Balochistan to convert the N25 highway, which connects Quetta and Karachi, into a four-lane road that is comparable to a motorway in terms of both design and quality.
He underlined that all projects will be finished on schedule and that meetings will be held every two weeks to guarantee consistent accountability and monitoring.
The minister urged NHA staff to make their presentations more goal-oriented and outcome-driven while advocating for improved operational standards. He also instructed the department to enhance the visual appeal of city entrances under NHA control.
During his visit to the NHA headquarters, the federal minister also planted a sapling as part of a green initiative. In order to better coordinate future projects, he also ordered a joint meeting with the Ring Road Authority.
