Today, PM Shehbaz will depart for Turkiye.

Today (Tuesday), Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to depart for Ankara, Turkey. He will address bilateral ties and current events in the region and beyond in-depth with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during the visit.

The extraordinary ties of fraternity between Pakistan and Turkey are reflected in their longstanding tradition of frequent high-level encounters as strategic partners and allies.

The High Level Strategic collaboration Council is another formalized leadership-level framework that the two nations have in place for coordination and collaboration on a range of topics of shared interest.

In February of this year, President Erdogan and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif co-chaired the Council’s seventh session, which took place in Islamabad.

The forthcoming conference is an extension of this active discussion and emphasizes the mutual resolve to strengthen the complex relationship between Pakistan and Turkey.
