Details indicate that the tragedy happened in the hilly area under the jurisdiction of the Bola Khan police station. The van’s driver lost control of the vehicle owing to excessive driving, and it fell into a ditch, instantly killing 16 people and wounding 30 more.
From Lapari to Badin, Kolhi tribe people were being transported by the unfortunate vehicle. When police and emergency personnel arrived on the scene after receiving information, they took the injured and deceased to the hospital. After some time, some of the injured were moved to Hyderabad.
Some of the injured were in severe condition, and rescue sources said the death toll could increase.
