Barrister Gohar denounces unfounded Indian accusations

Amid growing tensions between the two countries, Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, the chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), fiercely denounced what he called “baseless allegations” made by India against Pakistan.

Such baseless charges, according to Barrister Gohar, are a reflection of India’s “malicious intentions,” and New Delhi will not be successful in its plans.

Pakistan retains the right to self-defence, he reaffirmed. He declared, “In the face of external threats, the PTI stands united with the nation and the armed forces of Pakistan, speaking with one voice.”

Speaking regarding the Indus Water Treaty, Barrister Gohar emphasised that Pakistan must vigorously oppose India’s efforts in all pertinent international venues and maintained that the pact could not be unilaterally suspended.
