Recently, Komal Aziz Khan made news discussing her personal opinions on marriage during an appearance on an early show on a private TV station.
As she considered her life and work, her open comments on marriage immediately went viral on social media.
Komal Aziz Khan talked about her anxieties and disclosed on a talk show appearance that marriage is one of her main concerns. She said that although she is a strong, independent woman who can run a business, defend herself, and even fight symbolic battles—capable of doing—the concept of marriage really disturbs her.
Growing up, Komal said she saw several weddings—none of which were unpleasant events—but they never motivated her to dream of one for her. She claimed that her lack of real thought on marriage stems from this separation.
Achieving financial freedom and self-sufficiency comes first, the actress underlined. She said, only once she would feel ready to consider marriage after hitting that mark.
She also voiced worry about the number of women who give up on their career goals after marriage—a prospect that has made her cautious about forfeiting her freedom. She did, however, also mention how some of her family’s changing perspective has helped to relax some of those worries.
Komal had said in a previous interview that she would only wed someone more successful and earning than she does, thinking this would lead to a stable and balanced marriage.
She also acknowledged that her high expectations helped her to stay single.
