Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar apprised UK Foreign Secretary David Lamy of India’s unfounded propaganda and unlawful actions, including the unilateral abrogation of the Indus Waters Treaty (IWT).
A statement from the Foreign Office spokeswoman indicated that Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar engaged in a telephone call with UK Foreign Secretary David Lamy, during which he provided an update on the regional situation.
Ishaq Dar emphasized India’s spurious allegations, unfounded propaganda, and unilateral measures, notably the unlawful suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty. He asserted that India’s conduct constituted a flagrant breach of international responsibilities.
Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s steadfast dedication to safeguarding its national interests and highlighted the continuous endeavors to foster regional peace and stability.
The UK Foreign Secretary emphasized the necessity of addressing challenges through conversation and peaceful methods, as stated by the Foreign Office spokesperson.
Ishaq Dar underlined that Pakistan is prepared to engage in any unbiased and transparent probe throughout this talk.
