KP raises the grant for religious seminaries to Rs. 100 million.

By increasing the yearly payment from Rs30 million to Rs100 million, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government authorized a substantial increase in funding for the seminaries.
Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur presided over the meeting where the decision was taken.
Barrister Saif, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Information, told reporters that the government considers religious seminary students to be an important national resource. He emphasized the necessity of combining modern education with religion, calling it an urgent requirement.
He added that efforts are being made to advance a well-rounded educational framework that incorporates both contemporary disciplines and traditional Islamic learning under the current provincial leadership.
“The government is paying special attention to seminaries alongside mainstream schools,” he said, adding that the goal is to give pupils skills that are applicable to the modern world as well as spiritual direction.
