According to Turkish influencer Turkan Atay, Maria B is evading payments.

The well-known Pakistani fashion designer Maria B has been accused by Turkish content producer Turkan Atay of failing to pay her for a brand photo session in Turkey.

Atay produces stuff in Urdu and has more than 850,000 Instagram followers.

She has shockingly claimed that in 2025, Maria B’s crew asked her to oversee a location shoot in Turkey.

She added that in order to pay for local production costs, the deal included a fee per outfit.

Atay claimed that even though the assignment was finished, she had only been paid a small amount.

The brand allegedly reportedly contested the agreement, claiming that payments were typically provided each social media reel rather than per outfit.

“Three months have passed,” Atay stated in a video message. “They have treated me in an unprofessional manner, wasted my time, and avoided full payment.”

She further claimed that after her husband tried to mediate, the designer’s staff erased earlier correspondence.

Maria B has already courted controversy surrounding Turkey.

When Maria B was accused of copying a particular design by artist Leena Ghani, the situation became more heated.
