Mike Hesson is a serious candidate to be the head coach of the Pakistan Cricket Team.

New Zealander Mike Hesson is reportedly a serious candidate for the position. Hesson is being considered for the role specifically to coach Pakistan’s white-ball (limited-overs) teams. He is currently the head coach of Islamabad United in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Before rendering a final decision, the PCB is presently awaiting the closing of the application deadline.

The forthcoming Twenty20 International series against Bangladesh is probably going to be the new head coach’s first job. Five games total—two in Faisalabad and three in Lahore—will make up the series. On May 21, the Bangladeshi team is expected to land in Pakistan.

Additionally, there have been indications indicating the potential inclusion of Sahibzada Farhan, Hussain Talat, Hasan Ali, Faheem Ashraf, and Ali Raza in the squad for the series.
