Petroleum prices are expected to decline in the forthcoming biweekly review for May 2025.
According to sources, the petrol price is anticipated to decrease by Rs2.95 per litre, while the high-speed diesel price is projected to decline by Rs6.80 per litre.
The price of kerosene oil is expected to decrease by Rs7.16 per litre, however the price of light speed diesel would remain stable.
Sources indicated that the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) will submit a brief to the Ministry of Finance on Thursday for the revision of petroleum prices.
The decision will be made following consultations with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
