Six fatalities and multiple injuries reported as storms devastate KP and Punjab.

Intense storms traversed regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab on Tuesday, resulting in a minimum of six fatalities and numerous injuries.
A toddler was killed in Manki village, Swabi, when powerful winds led to the collapse of a boundary wall and roof, hurting his mother and brother as well. In Ziarat Cham Baba, a woman and her kid became ensnared beneath rubble following the collapse of a shed roof.
In Bisham, Shangla, a lightning strike resulted in one fatality and left six individuals unconscious.
A wall collapse injured a young man in the Rahimabad region of Nowshera, while Peshawar reported seven injuries from various rain-related incidents, including a billboard falling onto a car near Hayatabad Stadium.

Additional destruction transpired in Peshawar’s Mattani and Garhi Qamardin, resulting in the collapse of walls and roofs, while a solar panel injured a pedestrian on Phandu Road.
In Punjab, one individual was deceased and eight sustained injuries.
In Mianwali, a lightning strike resulted in one fatality, while a wall collapse at Makarwal Police Station caused injuries to another individual.
Injuries were also recorded in Rawalpindi, Attock, and Gujranwala due to analogous occurrences involving structural collapses and debris.
Islamabad had severe gusts that uprooted trees and signage, compelling individuals to seek refuge beneath bridges and flyovers.
The PDMA has activated emergency services, advising the public to exercise caution, avoid electric poles and open spaces during storms, and limit non-essential travel.
