Youm-e-Takbeer: Aleem Khan honours the nation’s defence heroes

Abdul Aleem Khan, President of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) and Federal Minister for Communications, conveyed his congratulations to the country on Youm-e-Takbeer.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the IPP president lauded the scientists, defence specialists, engineers, and political leaders whose collaborative efforts resulted in the successful nuclear detonations at Chagai.
“I take pride in every individual who played a role in rendering Pakistan’s defence invulnerable,” stated Mr. Khan. Their commitment and valour transformed Pakistan into a nuclear power and a beacon of strength for the Muslim world.
Mr. Aleem Khan stated that this year’s Youm-e-Takbeer possessed even greater significance in light of what he referred to as the continuing “Mark-e-Haq.”
He stated that the day serves as both a reminder of national strength and spiritual conviction. “Individuals who place their faith in Allah Almighty are never let down.” “His mercy is limitless,” he asserted.
He characterised the day as a moment to convey national appreciation. “The objective of commemorating Youm-e-Takbeer is to express gratitude to the Almighty and to pay tribute to those who defended Pakistan’s sovereignty,” he stated.
Mr. Aleem Khan emphasised that Pakistan has consistently exercised its nuclear capabilities with responsibility while commending the achievement. “Notwithstanding its robust defence, Pakistan has consistently favoured peace,” he remarked. “We have consistently regarded our nuclear programme as a mechanism for deterrence and a method to sustain a balance of power in the region.”
He further said the day served as a symbol of pride not only for Pakistan but for the entire Muslim Ummah. The IPP leader stated, “Youm-e-Takbeer represents a day of dignity, superiority, and strength for the Islamic world.”
Abdul Aleem Khan also lauded the role of the Pakistan Army, calling its contributions in defending the homeland “a source of national honour.” He praised the military’s unwavering commitment to securing the country’s frontiers and maintaining internal stability.
“May 28 serves as a reminder that Pakistan, through unity and faith, became a fortress of Islam. We must carry forward that legacy with responsibility and resolve,” Mr Khan said.
