Muqam honors those responsible for Pakistan’s nuclear dominance.

Engineer Amir Muqam, the Federal Minister for SAFRON, Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan Affairs, honored those who helped turn Pakistan into a nuclear power on Wednesday.
Addressing a function in connection with Youm-e-Takbeer at the PML-N Secretariat in Pesawar, Amir Muqam said that former Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif made Pakistan defense impregnable after successfully conducting six nuclear explosions on May 28, 1998.
He claimed that in retaliation to five nuclear tests carried out by India earlier that month, then-prime minister Nawaz Sharif disregarded international pressure and carried out six nuclear tests at the Chaghi Mountains in Balochistan. He claimed that no force could now harm Pakistan, the first Muslim nation and the seventh proclaimed nuclear power in the world.
In reference to the Indian aggression that occurred on May 6-7, 2025, Amir Muqam stated that Pakistan responded appropriately to India during Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos and caused significant losses to the adversary.
During Maraka e Haq, Engineer Amir Muqam praised the military and political leadership for their strong response to India’s brazen aggression, saying that the Pakistani nation’s spirit was historic.
He said that Pakistan had outperformed India in every way and that the enemy’s Rafale and other airplanes had been shot down.
According to Engineer Amir Muqam, Youm-e-Takbeer was observed today across the nation and Azad Kashmir as a way to honor the scientists, military leaders, and political leaders who helped make Pakistan’s defense unbeatable 27 years ago.
